Ron Arad
Ron Arad, born in Tel Aviv, studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Art and then moved to London to study at the Architectural Association in London. The architect founded ‘Ron Arad Associates’, an architecture and design practice where he set about producing individual pieces made of sheet steel, exploring the material’s formal and functional possibilities to the fullest. His work is featured heavily and consistently in many design/architectural books and magazines worldwide. Arad has exhibited at many major museums and galleries throughout the world and his work is in many public collections.
