Fernando and Humberto Campana

Fernando and Humberto Campana launched onto the world stage in the 1990s with their intriguing use of banal materials found locally– such as rubber hose, tissue paper, string or furry toys – successfully transforming modest and inexpensive materials into objects that celebrate the discarded and mundane yet stylistically instil the spirit of contemporary Brazil described by the pair as “zest for life”. The brothers combine found objects sometimes with advanced technologies to create a vibrant, energetic and definitively Brazilian approach to design.
