Quinze was looking to use the emotive capacity of Swarovski crystal to absorb and then help release the energy and dreams of people with his Dream Saver. In his mind, by doing so, the crystals appear to “look” at the viewer and become a form of energy by turn. With its carcass shaped for speed and motion, when walking through Dream Saver, people experience the magic of the crystals. Quinze aspires that at the same time the passengers feel the energy of the previous guests. The structure, 12m long and 3m high, is made using a wooden and metal frame coated in eight layers of multi-structured fiberglass sheets coated in a Ceralic metallic lacquer. Inside, six projection units support 5.5km of hanging Swarovski crystal strands.
